Linnea Bailey serves as president and CEO of West Palm Beach-based Linnea Bailey Public Relations.
Prior to starting her own company in 2016, she spent six years as the Director of Public Relations for the Maltz Jupiter Theatre, the largest regional theatre in the southern half of the United States. Through her own company, she continued to exclusively manage and execute all aspects of the not-for-profit theatre’s public relations strategy for an additional five years, overseeing media coverage of the Theatre’s much-anticipated $36 million expansion and generating stories in American Theatre magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Playbill, The New York Times and more.
With a career spanning two decades, her experience includes serving as a daily newspaper reporter for The Tampa Tribune and as the senior public relations associate for Kaplan University. A news enthusiast with a passion for storytelling, she feels privileged to use her experience on both sides of the media industry to help clients tell their stories throughout South Florida.
A boutique PR firm, Linnea intentionally works with only a few clients at a time to be able to offer individualized attention and make sure she’s giving their business they quality they deserve. She is detail-oriented and highly skilled in all aspects of both media relations and journalism.
A native of Gainesville, Fla., Linnea holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida. She keeps her reporting skills sharp through ongoing freelance writing work. Through her other company — Linnea Bailey Media — her recent journalism work can be found in Travel + Leisure, Southern Living, The Palm Beach Post, art&culture magazine, Florida Weekly and Florida Today, among others.
Linnea currently serves on the boards of the Gold Coast PR Council and the Palm Beach Public School Orchestral Strings Foundation. She lives in West Palm Beach with her husband and children.
